- Miniaturize your portion sizes. - Make less food look like more. You can do it by serving your meal on a salad or breakfast plate. - Have snacks throughout the day. - Try not to snake while cooking or cleaning the kitchen. - Eat your breakfast every day. - Eat broth and cured meats in small amounts, because they are high in sodium. - Share your desert. - While eating out order vegetable salad, a bowl of soup, or juice. - Drink a glass of water or other non-caloric beverage 10 minutes before your meal. - Skip the French fries or replace the fries with a salad. - It is better to listen to the music or radio while you eat. - Eat slowly. Your stomach needs 20 minutes to send a signal to your brain that you're full.
Physical Activity
 - Dance more. - While doing household works turn up the music. - Use the stairs instead of the elevator. - Instead of making calls visit your friends. - March in place while watching TV. - Park further from your work or your favorite store to have a walk. - Choose an exercise video from the store or library. - Get off the bus one stop earlier and have a walk.
Choose Healthy Food
- Try to buy at least one new fruit or vegetable every time you grocery shop. - Serve macaroni and low-fat cheese with your favorite vegetable dish and a salad. - Try foods from other countries. - While cooking use various spices instead of salt.
